Mariza’s Son Noah Quintana also participated with is in the parade.

All benefits and proceeds from the Crawfish Festival directly attribute to the Ganado Volunteer Fire Department and the Jackson County Fire Department.  They are able to update equipment with the newest and improved, provide updated and safe uniforms to the volunteer firefighter and they are also able to provide top-of-the-line training using the donations and sponsorships that are received.  The GVFD has an estimated 25 volunteers that are directly benefited from this cause.  Then the town of Ganado directly benefits by having the most update to date equipment and training available for fire emergencies.  The town of Ganado has a population of approximately 2000 to directly benefit from this.  And the entire Jackson County has a population of approximately 15,000 that also benefit since all the county fire departments assist throughout the entire county.

This year the Edna Banking Center received 2nd place in the GVFD Crawfish Festival Parade.  I would also like to note that we were the only bank in attendance that was not located in Ganado.  The gesture of R Bank Edna participating in the parade and sponsoring the Crawfish Festival was very appreciated by the City of Ganado and we have created new relationships both personal and business by R Bank being present at this event.  We received recognition at the parade, recognition at the festival and they had a big banner with our company logo displayed in the busiest area of the facility.  This was a very successful community event for our Edna Center, and I look to gain new business from participating in this event.
