Professional Background

Luis started his banking career in 1994. Over the course of 18 years, he has held various positions in the banking industry. In 2012, Luis left the big banking world and began working as a Commercial Lender for local community banks. In 2021, he joined the R Bank team as a Senior Vice President and Commercial Lender. Luis has spent the majority of his career helping small to mid-sized companies with their banking and financial needs while building strong mutual relationships along the way. 

Community Involvement

Over the years, Luis has been a member and volunteered for various local non-profit organizations such as United Way, Habitat for Humanity, Austin Angels, Caritas, Austin Chamber of Commerce, and Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. 

Activities & Interests

Luis enjoys traveling with his family and friends. He and his wife enjoy planning at least two trips a year. He also enjoys working out and trying modern contemporary food from all around the world.
