R Bank is proud to be one of the sponsors of the Behavioral Therapy Puppy Program in Round Rock ISD, which aims to provide mental health support to students in need. The program, which is the second of its kind in the state, utilizes trained therapy dogs to help students manage their emotional and behavioral issues in a safe and nurturing environment.

Officer Cleere of the RRISD Police Department, rightly notes that mental health has been a pressing issue in the community even before the pandemic. At R Bank, we believe that it is our responsibility to support initiatives that promote the well-being of our community, especially our children. And what better way to do so than by sponsoring a puppy that brings joy, comfort, and emotional support to those who need it the most?

Freckles, the therapy dog that R Bank sponsored, is a lovable pup with a heart of gold. He is a mixed breed making him a unique and lovable companion. Hollis Bone, Banking Center President for R Bank, was lucky enough to meet him during a Board Meeting this morning, and he attests to his sweet and gentle nature. We are confident that he will make a positive impact on the lives of the students he will interact with. Hollis also serves on the Board of Directors for Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation.

We would also like to recognize the other sponsors who stepped up to support this worthy cause. It is heartening to see that there are people and organizations out there who are willing to invest in the mental health and well-being of our children.

Finally, we would like to acknowledge the efforts of Texas Humane Heroes, who are providing essential support to the therapy dogs and their handlers. From complimentary shots and grooming services to kennels, beds, toys, and food support, they are truly making a difference in the lives of these special puppies.

At R Bank, we firmly believe that by investing in the Behavioral Therapy Puppy Program, we are not just supporting our community, but we are also helping to build a brighter and more compassionate future for our children. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of our children and our community.
